It is estimated that approximately 10% of all cancers are hereditary. The PanCancer study consists of a comprehensive genetic test that analyzes 40 genes associated with hereditary cancer. The study is especially indicated for patients who have already been diagnosed with cancer. It is also indicated for people with a family member affected by cancer before the age of 50, or several affected family members who may suggest a hereditary component. Finally, it is also indicated for people who want to know their risk of developing a hereditary cancer.
