Basic non-invasive prenatal test
"Study of trisomies 21 (Down syndrome), 18 (Edwards syndrome) and 13 (Patau syndrome) as well as fetal sex.
This test is valid for singleton and twin pregnancies with a gestational age of 10 weeks or more (and up to a maximum of 24 weeks). Currently, sex chromosome aneuploidies cannot be detected in twin pregnancies. It is also valid for in vitro fertilization and for pregnancies resulting from egg donation.
It has the following performances: sensitivity >99.9% and specificity of 99.9%, except for X chromosome monosomy, which has a sensitivity of 95%.
