AboutMe - Cancer Prevention (Screening Test)

It is estimated that approximately 10% of all cancers are hereditary. This study evaluates specific variants in genes associated with various hereditary cancer predisposition syndromes. Patients carrying these variants generally have a higher risk than the healthy population of developing certain types (12 types depending on their location) of cancer throughout their lives.
