Genodiagnosis is an institution dedicated to offering integrated Medical Genetics services, encompassing both genetic counseling and diagnosis in the field of human health.

The Laboratory was founded in 1992 by Dr. Horacio Cardoso and Dr. Beatriz Crispino, with the goal of applying advances in biotechnology to genetic diagnostics. In 2008, Dr. Víctor Raggio, a specialist in clinical genetics and the application of genetic tools in medicine, joined the team. Subsequently, in 2012, Dr. Sandra Feder, with experience in both prenatal and postnatal genetics, also joined the team.

With over 30 years of experience, the laboratory has consolidated extensive expertise and technological capabilities in cytogenetic and molecular diagnostics applied to human health. Currently, Genodiagnosis is a national reference center for cytogenetic diagnostics, molecular diagnosis of hereditary diseases, and prenatal studies, including both diagnostic and screening tests.
