Genodiagnosis

Genodiagnosis is oriented to provide in a unitary and coordinated manner services in Medical Genetics, both for advice and diagnosis, in the area of ​​human health. The Biotechnological Diagnostics Laboratory was founded in 1992 by Dr. Horacio Cardoso and Dr. Beatriz Crispino. In 2008, Dr. Víctor Raggio, Prof. Adj., joined the same. From the Department of Genetics of the Faculty of Medicine, expert in clinical genetics and in applications of genetic tools in Medicine. In 2012, Mag. Sandra Feder, a graduate of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, who specializes in Human and Molecular Genetics in both the prenatal and postnatal areas, joined. ​ With 30 years of experience, the laboratory has developed technological capabilities in cytogenetic and molecular diagnosis applied to Human Health. We are currently one of the national reference centers in cytogenetic diagnosis, molecular diagnosis of hereditary conditions and in prenatal diagnostic and screening studies.
