The Bone and Soft Tissue Cancer Panel (Sarcoma and Osteosarcoma) is designed to detect genetic variants associated with hereditary syndromes that predispose individuals to developing bone and soft tissue sarcomas, including Li-Fraumeni syndrome, Lynch syndrome, neurofibromatosis type 1 syndrome, and alterations in genes related to the RB1 and TP53 pathways. These mutations confer a high risk of mesenchymal neoplasms and other associated tumors. Genetic testing allows for diagnostic confirmation, stratification of familial risk, and guidance of personalized surveillance and treatment strategies. Genes analyzed include: TP53, RB1, NF1, MLH1, MSH2, PMS2, SDHB, SDHD, TSC1, and others. You can consult the complete list of analyzed genes by contacting Genotica.
